Do you offer telehealth palliative care visits?

Yes. Telehealth visits are available for eligible patients located in Georgia. You will need a device with a camera and internet connection. A telehealth link is sent on the day of your appointment.

Do I need a referral to see Supportive Medicine Specialists?

Yes, a referral from your healthcare provider is required. Providers can submit referrals through the Piedmont Healthcare EPIC system (Department: AFF-SMS) or by fax to 404-883-3609.

Can I receive palliative care while still receiving treatment?

Yes. Palliative care works alongside curative or disease-directed treatments. You do not have to stop chemotherapy, surgery, or other treatments to receive palliative care.
